The Firm

Since founding her design firm in 2011, Michele Johnson has developed a reputation for creating classic interiors that reflect the individual styles of her clients. Inspired by travel, fashion and art Michele has developed a keen eye to perfect her design aesthetic: well balanced, polished spaces that welcome the hectic lifestyles of her clients.

Michele’s approach to design, is first and foremost, comfort, created through mixing contemporary and classic motifs in unexpected ways. Never starting a project until a budget has been established, Michele is not afraid to mix custom design pieces with more iconic pieces from various retailers. The ultimate goal is to exceed the dreams of her clients while creating a love for the spaces you spend your most valuable time.

MICHELE JOHNSON, OWNER & PRINCIPAL DESIGNER

Michele Johnson, owner of Michele Johnson Interior Design, has a passion for well-designed homes. She has a wealth of knowledge, with her near 20 years of experience in the design field. Michele began her career in the retail furniture industry where she became familiar with all aspects of design and opened her firm in 2011. Timeless, classic, and fresh are just three words to describe Michele’s design style. While she loves to mix both traditional and contemporary styles, she maintains a strong emphasis on creating current, collected and evolving spaces. Michele draws inspiration from the world around her. With projects in cities all over, she has years of experience in construction, extensive renovations on homes locally as well as second homes. Turn-key vacation homes are some of her firm’s favorites projects to work on!
